Giving my doctoral lecture recital at 4:30 p.m. in the
University of Texas Recital Studio. I will discuss and
perform examples from my treatise, A Collection of Etudes
Targeting Altissimo Passages in Alto Saxophone Solo Literature.
April 7, 2008:
The Tipping Point Saxophone Quartet will present a recital in
Austin at 6 p.m. at
University Presbyterian Church, 2203 San Antonio Street.
April 11, 2008:
The Tipping Point Saxophone Quartet will present a recital in
San Marcos at
Texas State University at 6 p.m. in the School of Music Recital
Hall.
April 17-20, 2008:
Traveling with the Tipping Point Saxophone Quartet to Columbia,
S.C. for the North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial
Conference. I will be premiering On the Softer Side for baritone
saxophone and piano by Robert Honstein and the TPSQ will give a
performance of Life and Afterlife (2008) by Nick Sibicky.
